Masachika Kuze is an unmotivated underachiever who routinely stays up late indulging in his nerdy hobbies. The girl who sits next to him in class, Alisa, constantly gets after him. While his grade may be on the lower end, he actually understands Russian because of his paternal grandfather, who was a big lover of Russian Culture.

~!Masachika is the eldest child of the Suou family. As a child, he was a prodigy and won first place in everything he tried. He worked hard to garner his mother's praises and that alone fuelled him. However, his talent was so immense that people started seeing him as a monster. Eventually his own mother was afraid of Masachika. This lead to his family being torn apart and as a result, Masachika ran away from the Suou family.!~

~!Masachika in the present carries an immense burden. He feels guilty for his sister Yuki, who has to now bear the responsibility of the Suou family. Not only that, but the reason he stops trying in general is because he feels guilty of his own talent. Others try their utmost hardest while Masachika himself was born with talent. He couldn't bear trampling on others hard work when he wasn't passionate nor very hardworking hence his slacker attitude.!~
