Desir Arman is the central protagonist of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special. After his return to the past upon the failure of clearing the Shadow World, he resolves to strengthen his allies so that the future doesn’t get repeated. In Hebrion Academy, commoners are frowned upon and put into the Beta class whilst the nobles are designated the alpha class, Desir is one of the commoners who hates the class system and wants things to change. As a result he and his friends set out to close the gap by showing the teachers and aristocrats that commoners can have as much potential as the nobles if given the right circumstances. ~! Desir takes a very serious approach towards preparing those he deems important for the inevitable end of the world that he experiences in his past life. !~

__Skills and Abilities:__

__Anti-Magic:__ Despite being a lower level circle magician, Desir’s main fighting style revolves around Analytical Magic which can be used to hack and cancel the magic used by other mages. He uses this to overturn battles against opponents that are stronger than him making their magic close to useless.

__Close Quarters Combat:__ So Donovan took upon himself to teach Desir martial arts during their time in the Shadow Labyrinth. Desir became proficient in close combat to make up for his shortcomings when it comes to his magical prowess.

__Magic Gem Enchanting:__ Desir learned a skill which allows him to directly resonate with magic gems and use their mana for his own spells, From this he can use higher level spells that only higher circle level mages could have access to.

__Dragon Tongue:__ A separate form magic that is different from the magic that is usually casted by mages. It is the magic that directly affects mana that is casted in the language of the dragons. These spells take a toll on his body physically and as a result he only uses spells in dragon tongue when he's in danger.
